Cake Pops are ALL THE RAGE right now. And I DO agree, they're yummy and fun. But EXPENSIVE! And no fun to make (just eat). THESE, I like! Meet the Oreo Pop, the brilliant brainchild of the Hip Hip Hooray! blog. THESE I can do. Go to Party City and buy some sticks and some melting chocolate (sprinkles too, if you don't already have 'em). Swing thru the grocery store on your way home and grab some Oreos. I'm going for the Double Stuffs. HURRY home. Melt your chocolate. Stick your sticks in the Oreos. Dip. Sprinkle. Done. You will be a HERO to anyone who you share these with. Make 'em for a party, and guest will think you spent a FORTUNE on 'em. Just smile, and accept all the compliments! Think of all the different ways these could be done - all the different FLAVORS of Oreos. White, vs. milk chocolate. You could do any number of holiday themes. What fun! Hip Hip Hooray, indeed!
