School is nearly out, and if you're anything like our family you'll likely be making some trips to the local library. Our library is such a great resource for keeping us entertained for FREE - we can not only check out books, but also the latest DVDs, audio books, play-away books and CDs. We can get on their website and search thru the entire catalog. If something is already checked out, we can place a HOLD request so that they set it aside for us when it's returned. We then get an automated call (and email) telling us that something we requested from the library is ready for pickup. How awesome is that?!?!
We check out a LOT of things from our local library, and I would never be able to keep it all straight without a service called Library Elf. Best of all, it's FREE. Here's a link to their website if you'd like to investigate. http://libraryelf.com/
