Halloween - 50% Off

I LOVE the day after a major holiday.  Because that's the day I head to places like Target (my favorite!) and  Walgreens and score holiday-themed food and/or decorations for 50-90% off!  I dropped the boys off at school and made a bee-line for Target.  Apparently I was not the only one who had this brilliant idea, as there were LOTS of Moms just like me (baseball cap & sweatpants on) fast-walking thru the parking lot from the car!  (You think I'm kidding, don't you?  I kid you not).  I got ALL SORTS of treats that looked yummy before Halloween, but I refused to pay full-price.  Everything was 50% off today, so I stocked up.  Fruit snacks, chocolate covered pretzels, orange frosting, Halloween Oreos, I got 'em all!  My cart was FILLED.  My biggest find of the day was a Bubble Fog Machine, which I am so stinkin' EXCITED about.  My kids saw one last year at one of those Halloween Stores, and they were all sold out - before Halloween.  Apparently they are very popular, and super-cool!  Today I nabbed one for $30 and got three bottles of the fog juice to go with it.  I'm a HAPPY girl!  Never mind the fact that my two youngest will FREAK OUT when they see it after school.  That will be worth the $30 alone!  :)
I also grabbed Puffs Halloween Tissues for $0.75/box and Bounty Napkins for $1.50.  They had tons of Bounty Paper Towels 2-packs for $2 too that everyone was stocking up on.  Definitely worth a trip - but I wouldn't wait too long!
Now is also the time to think about next year's Halloween costume.  They were marked down to 50% off, and had TONS - including some Angry Birds ones that I thought my kids might be into.  I may take them back there after school to see if there's anything they like.  Then I'll just buy one size bigger and pack 'em away with our Halloween decorations for next year!  Last year, I got their Mario Brothers costumes for about $5 a piece.  I refuse to pay full price for a costume (do you sense a pattern here?!).
