Report Card Freebies

So my kids are out of school for the summer. And they deserve to be rewarded for all their hard work throughout the year (all A's - they're geniuses, what can I say) So today we decided to hit up all the local report card freebies available.  Look at all the freebies you can get!

  • Blockbuster is giving away a free movie rental for good grades! (Unfortunately, all the Blockbuster's near us have gone out of business)
  • Chuck E. Cheese - Bring your report card and receive up to 15 free tokens per child, you must make a food purchase to receive the tokens.
  • Family Video - Free video rental for A’s, must bring in the final report card and rent your video in the summer.
  • Baskin Robbins – Free scoop for good grades.
  • Krispy Kreme – Free original glazed doughnut for an A – up to 6.
  • Pizza Hut – Three A’S Program, each marking period, any child who has 3 A’s or the equivalent thereof, will receive one Personal Pan Pizza and a small soft drink or carton of milk by presenting his or her report card to the manager. This offer is good for Elementary and Middle School students. Dine-in only. Student must be present and the original report card must be presented. (unfortunately, we do not have a Pizza Hut restaurant nearby, just delivery so we couldn't take advantage of this one)
  • Nick's Card Shop (corner of Coit & Campbell in Richardson) - bring your report card in and get a free grab bag filled with various baseball, basketball & other cards.  This was my kid's favorite freebie!
I did research this online and find all sorts of sites listing other businesses like Chick-fil-a, Sonic, Justice, Wendy's and others giving away free stuff to kiddos for good grades.  I called my local locations and none of them were participating and knew nothing about these programs.  So I would highly suggest that before you go anywhere other than the bulleted ones above, CALL BEFORE YOU LEAVE and confirm that they are, indeed participating.
