My boys are taking the STAAR tests this week (it's a BIG deal!). North Texas Kids has a nice article on 10 Tips For A Successful STAAR Testing Week. Most of it is pretty predictable - but I did find two ideas that were worth noting:
- Surprise them with an encouraging note in their lunchbox.
- Go to the Dollar Store and buy a couple of fun, colorful pencils. LOVE THIS ONE!
