Sorry for the slow postings today. I took a little jaunt to the Emergency Room last night with AJ. He woke up at 1:00 AM saying he felt really horrible, and had excruciating stomach pain and vomiting. After about an hour or so I thought that something just wasn't right. He kept complaining his stomach felt like it was on fire, and it was the worst pain he'd ever felt in his life. (This from the kid who broke his wrist playing football late last year). He's familiar with pain. He's had the flu. This felt different. So off we go into the night, in search of a doctor who can magically tell us what's wrong and how to fix it. How grateful I am that I can just jump in my car and be at an impressive medical facility in less than 10 minutes full staffed, ready to help!
I won't give you all the details (even a kid is entitled to some privacy!), but we arrived home in the wee hours of the morning, just as the sun was setting. Just in time for Zach to wake up, ready to start his day (oh, joy!). AJ is slowly on the mend, and has an appointment with a GI Specialist on Tuesday morning to do some further investigation into what EXACTLY is going on. So today I am washing bedding, cleaning & disinfecting bathrooms and tending to my middle baby. He's kicked me off the computer to play Pokemon.com, so I'm only able to sneak on when he steps away for a moment! That's OK. I'll wait. He's entitled - if it makes him feel better, and takes his mind off his worries, then you're willing to miss some deals & coupons, right? Because sometimes.....LIFE HAPPENS.
Rest assured, I will be back in the saddle just as soon as I can, helping you scope out all the goodies. Until then, hug your kids just a little bit tighter, and a little bit longer today.
:)
