Great Fall Harvest Festival - This Weekend At Calloways

The GREAT Fall Harvest Festival takes place at all Calloway’s and Cornelius Nursery garden centers this Saturday, October 5 beginning at 9 AM. We go to this every year, and it's lots of fun.  Enjoy Texas garden centers filled with pumpkins, gourds, cornstalks, hay bales and colorful Fall flowers. Participate in family fun throughout the entire day - including lots of FREE children's activities:

• Visit The Great Pumpkin Patch! Mounds of carving pumpkins, unique gourds, Indian corn and bales of hay. 
• Photograph your child in the Picture Takin' Place, at the Field of Flowers or at the Story Telling House. 
• See hungry "Monster" plants in the Carnivorous Plants area. 
• Shop the old-time Farmer's Market. 
• Choose a character from the Scarecrow Village. 
• Let your children take part in gleeful pumpkin decorating. They give each child a free pie pumpkin and decorative materials. 
• Watch children dig in and plant seeds or flowers in Plant a Pal, Pot a Pansy and Grow a Salad Bowl stations! 
• Let your children use imagination in the Chalk Garden, or hear a tale at the Story Telling House.
• Mad Science will put on an entertaining show!
