I'm gonna make a confession here. Last summer we promised the kids that although we couldn't do an "official" vacation someplace outside of Texas, we would take them to Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine for a special mini-vacation right here in our home state. They got really excited. Then I went online to book our rooms, and nearly had a heart attack when I saw the prices. So, no, we did not do Great Wolf Lodge. This summer they asked about it again, and I told them I'm looking for a deal (they know their Mommy!). This just may be our deal! Groupon has a deal for 42% off - it includes a two-night stay for up to six people, including water park passes and lunch for $359 (normally $616). This place looks seriously FUN.
