Oh, WOW. I am soooo loving this gorgeous Vintage Jewelry Framed Mirror! THIS is my new project. You know all those garage sales with tons of old jewelry that is pretty, but not something you'd wear? So you don't buy it, even though you like it. I'm buying 'em all now, and holding onto them until I have enough to do something like THIS. These are vintage brooches simply hot-glued onto a mirror. Just buy a cheap mirror from Michael's when they have a 40% off coupon. You don't have to use all brooches - earrings, necklaces, vintage buttons.....they'd all work. I LOVE the color. You could even use your grandmother's old jewelry. You know, the stuff you keep stashed away in your jewelry box collecting dust? Isn't this a better way to memorialize? Put that lovely jewelry on display - what a great family heirloom. Then pass it on to your daughter. LOVE IT!Huge thanks go GeorgiaPeachez for the photo and inspiration!
I love the idea of taking something that I would never use and turn it to something useful. I never throw away anything but it always piles up somewhere in the house and makes such a mess.
