Praying For Oklahoma

What a terrible, terrible day yesterday.  You know what I'm talking about.  You've seen the news.  It is just devastation everywhere in Moore, Oklahoma.  I went to bed last night praying that this morning there would be uplifting video of someone (anyone) being pulled out.  And yes, apparently 101 people were pulled out of the rubble alive.  But indeed, there are lots who are still missing.  Many of them children who were merely attending school.  All I could think about while trying to go to sleep last night was how terrifying it must be for the parents who do not know where their children were.  It was dark, and as a parent all I can think about is how scared those poor children must have been.  And for those who survived, how that moment will never leave them.  No matter how long they live.  How terrifying just the word "tornado" must be now.

I can tell you this....my kids got whatever they wanted yesterday.  Wanna play video games longer?  Have at it.  Big bowl of ice cream with chocolate sauce before bed?  Sure.  They got extra hugs & kisses.  This morning I got up and turned on the news and saw that Texas has the possibility for some severe weather this afternoon.  Honestly, my first thought was to keep them home from school.  Irrational?  Yep.  I know.  And yes, they are all at school today.  While I blog and watch CNN.  I can only watch so much before it just becomes overwhelming.  I am praying for everyone affected, and especially for the children.

15% Off kidecals (A Must Have For Summer)

Summer is RAPIDLY approaching - I cannot believe that we have only FOUR more weeks of school (where does the time go?!).  That means that soon enough, you'll be carting kids off to camp, the pool, the park, vacation and various other sorted activities all in the quest to keep them occupied.  If you're like me, you're HOPING that the water bottles, clothes, toys all make it home again.  Kidecals are a great way to UP those odds.

• Personalized Kids Name Labels: Kidecals are a must if you've got kids and hate losing their stuff (who doesn't?!!?). Label water bottles, clothing, books, toys, sports gear with their trendy and fun designs. kidecals are crazy durable...dishwasher, washing machine AND dryer safe, and they don't damage surfaces. Love it!
• Waterproof Labels: Kidecals waterproof name labels are insanely durable and can stick to just about anything...from clothes to water bottles...and stay put through wash after wash after wash. Oh - and pool toys? Done and DONE.
• Fun Mustache Stickers: My kids are crazy for anything with a mustache, and frankly so am I (even my husband has one!). We love kidecals fun Partystache stickers to use as drink markers, and the Mustache Chalkboard Stickers are a sassy way to label/organize anything in your pantry or craft room. (They're also fun for labeling foods or drinks at a potluck or party!)
• Chalkboard Labels that you can write on: Chalkboard labels are the easiest way to get organized fast without having to create new printed labels from scratch. kidecals makes the prettiest designs, and their chalkboard labels are super durable and can even go through the dishwasher!
• Daycare Labels: If you have kids in daycare then you know how important it is to label EVERYTHING. kidecals daycare labels are not just super cute, they're dishwasher, washing machine and dryer safe, and stay put on anything from clothing, to baby's favorite lovey to sippy and snack cups.
• As seen on the Today Show personalized clothing labels: kidecals is such a fun site for personalized clothing labels! kidecals clothing labels are durable and I love their cute designs. They were even featured on the Today Show!
• Camp Labels: It's obvious kidecals is founded by a mother of two boys, because not only are kidecals designs amazingly "cool" for boys, they are super duper durable for camp. kidecals are dishwasher, washing machine AND dryer safe. They literally do not come off. Ever.
