OK, so I'm doing ONE MORE post about this HOT Artizone deal. Sorry, I can't help myself and don't want you to miss out! My order was delivered this morning, and here it is in the shot above. I paid $78.32 for everything you see here - plus it was delivered straight to my doorstep. I would have paid WAY MORE in the grocery store for all this. One thing not in the picture is a big ol' bag of Cheese Popcorn that I had already torn into (hey, a girl's gotta eat, right?!?).
In the interest of full disclosure, this order was NOT without it's issues. Here's what happened:
- When I placed the order Wednesday my bank account was immediately charged the $78.32. Today I just happened to be paying bills online and saw that Artizone had refunded me the $78.32 charge and put thru another charge of $185.17. Can you imagine how un-thrilled I was, and how quickly I picked up the phone to call Customer Service? I appears that they had taken OFF the 50% off deal. The manager I spoke to was very understanding (he better be, right?) and assured me that the additional 50% off would be credited to my bank account in the next 48 hours. SO: If you placed an order, it is certainly worth checking to make sure that they did not do the same thing to you. If so, call Customer Service and they'll get it handled.
- I noticed (after the delivery guy left) that the two yogurts and the French Onion Dip that were in bags marked COLD were decidedly NOT cold. They were, in fact, room temperature. I (once again) got on the horn to Customer Service. They were very apologetic and offered to either refund my money or replace the products. I opted for the refund. I've already received an email receipt from them showing a refund of $8.38 back into my bank account. Guess what - that's for the FULL AMOUNT, not the 50% off plus another 10% off that I paid. Don't ya just LOVE when that happens? :D
- For all my trouble, Artizone issued me a FREE $5.99 delivery credit to use towards my next order. I checked online and it's already in my Artizone Online Wallet. (Guess who's placing another order later today for delivery in a week or two? I'm gonna do one more go-around of the 50% off).
Here's the breakdown on the math:
$78.32 original order
-$11.50 credit in my wallet for the mini muffins I ordered
-$5.99 credit for the free delivery on next order
-$3.00 credit for this purchase (you earn 4% rewards on all orders)
$57.83 FINAL TOTAL
**Just FYI....my delivery guy was super-nice and said that on a typical Friday morning he has TWO deliveries. He had SIXTY FIVE today. So as you can see, TONS of people are taking advantage of this deal. They are ridiculously slammed, so I can certainly see why there may be some problems with orders. I'm willing to cut 'em some slack!
You can't tell from the pic above, but buried in there is a butcher paper wrapped pack with THESE bad boys. Guess what we're having for dinner tonite! (That's FOUR really good-looking tenderloin steaks - YUMMY!)!
TO RECAP THE DEAL: Have you placed your order yet? This ends TODAY. ALL NEW customers will get an instant $25 credit to use. One local reader was able to use that $25 credit PLUS the 50% off and extra 10% off to pay $30 for $120 worth of groceries. Another reader got $500 worth of groceries for under $200! WOW!

Calling all my LOCAL readers - Here is one grocery deal you will NOT want to miss! Really. Have you hear about artizone.com? It's a new online grocery delivery service for folks in Dallas, Addison, Richardson, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Irving, Carrollton & Coppell. I've tried grocery delivery services like Pea In A Pod from Tom Thumb before and really enjoyed it (until I got into couponing). It's so convenient when 1) you have a new baby or don't like to shop with little ones in-tow, 2) are under the weather or elderly, 3) just plain don't feel like getting out but need some groceries.

Here is a FANTASTIC (and cheap!) way to try out this new delivery service: THRU FRIDAY (5/31) Artizone is offering 50% off EVERYTHING! Without using ONE coupon! But wait....it gets EVEN BETTER. Enter promo code DBROADCAST to save an ADDITIONAL 10%! Seriously, this is a CRAZY-GOOD deal. I'm gonna be super-smart and use it for things I don't typically get coupons for, like meat & produce! I've looked online at artizone's prices, and they are not outrageous, pretty much in line with what you'd find at a grocery store.
Go HERE for a complete list of zip codes that artizone.com delivers to. NOTE: this 50% off sale does not apply to alcohol. Delivery is not included (delivery is $5.99, or FREE if your order is $120+).
