Free Calloway's Kids Event Tomorrow

REMINDER:  Calloways is hosting a FREE Kid's Event this Wednesday....
Little gardeners ages 5 to 10 can head to Calloway's Nurserys throughout North Texas for free children's events and learn more about nature and gardening. Enjoy a fun and playful event at our garden centers. Kids take a completed project home with them. Some events require registration. All events are free of charge, while supplies last!

Callie's Story Corner
School’s out, but the learning continues! Visit any Calloway’s or Cornelius Nursery garden center to take part in the first of three summer series gardening activities. During Callie's Kids June session, children will hear a story read by one of our very own gardeners. Then, they can take part in a fun seed-planting activity. Come on out - hear a good read and plant a seed or two! Fun for all little gardeners!
Summer break is coming to a close, and school will be back in session soon. Don't miss the last Callie's Kids event of the season. Visit any Calloway’s or Cornelius Nursery garden center to get in on the action! We're serving up deep-dish sized fun! Parents and guardians - bring your little gardeners into the nursery so they may participate in creating a beautiful bowl bouquet. Bowls and grass seeds will be provided for the base, and then children can create their own craft flowers to decorate the bowl and accent the grass!

This is such a great idea for Father's Day.  I have several of these from my boys over the years, and absolutely cherish them.  The answers are always so funny!  Alas, these are always done at school for kiddos to give to their Moms for Mother's Day.  Which leaves out the Dads, who have the misfortune of hosting their holiday when school is out of session!  :(
